Pradhan Karma - Types and Benefits

Pradhan karma is one of the three steps of Panchakarma. You have it after the Purva karma, and it has five procedures- Vaman, Virechan, Basti, Nasya and Rakta Mokshan. Niramaya Ayurveda provides treatment to cleanse out the toxins from your body naturally, and it can help you stay healthy.
1. Virechana
This is a process of waste excretion from the body where the bowel movements are stimulated by drug or herbal laxative. The diseases of the blood are eradicated, improving the skin and immunity, and it is a vital part of the Pradhan karma and comes after Vamana.
2. Nasya
This is the fourth method in the pradhana karma cycle, and it involves the cleansing of the nasal passage by the administration of pastels, oils, plant juices and powders. Nasya can treat diseases related to ear, nose, throat and head. This help improving and strengthening mental functions and hair.
3. Mantra Basti
It is fat a large enema which has unique benefits and use, and it can be taken daily. The mantra basis is applied to the rectum, urethra, and vagina or the wound as well. This helps lubricate the system and lessen the dryness that is caused by air.
